I think there was a new tournament called Olleh KT Cup in Korea. it was sponsored by Olleh KT telecommunications company. The prize was 700 million Won.

Park Jungsang won the tournament.

I was surprised that even an amateur player, Min Sangyoun from Korea, managed to go through the qualification by beating even a top pro, Mok Jinseok! An Insei?

All japanesse players lost in first or (just few)  in second round, but the one - Murakawa Daisuke.

Looking forward to see good results from him in future, after he has defeated 3 korean youngsters and well experineced chinesse master Liu Xing.

Was also pleased, that Han Sanghun finally menaged to get some good result by qualifiing, in long time. My expectations was much higher after his famous run into LG finals, being pro just feew weeks ...
